Core Issues

Locally this fall, our City of Carlsbad will be electing a new mayor and two city council members. Our city is changing. It’s moving from a developing city to one that’s developed. This will bring with it a whole new set of challenges that must be met by leaders with energy, drive, determination and proven successful leadership experience.

My wife and I are personally endorsing Farrah Douglas for City Council this November because I believe she has the experience, energy and a love for the city that will greatly strengthen Carlsbad. With leaders like Farrah and a fresh group of new Carlsbad leaders, we can work together to ensure a strong future for generations to come!

I believe we must:

1. Aggressively seek to attract top quality companies that will bring high paying jobs to our city.

2. Strengthen and improve our small town beach community feel through revitalization and maintaining a strong infrastructure.

3. Protect our city’s open space and quality of life.

4. Always work in the best interests of Carlsbad’s Citizens.
